FSSC 22000 Scheme Version 7.0

Version 7 published on 1 May 2026. Incorporates the new ISO 22002-x:2025 (PRP) series and new requirements: food loss and waste, quality control, equipment management, allergens, packaging design, auditor competence and food safety & quality culture. Aligned with the GFSI v2024 benchmark. V6 stays valid during the 12-month transition (from 2027).

BRCGS Food v9 (August 2022)

Specifies safety, quality and operational criteria for food manufacturers. Issue 9 (August 2022) remains the version in force; Issue 10 is under development (public consultation closed February 2026).

IFS Food v8 (April 2023)
